Everything you need to know about working with SELLIQ — pricing, process, timelines, and results.
What does SELLIQ actually do?
SELLIQ is a performance marketing agency focused on Google Ads management and SEO for service businesses, B2B companies, law firms, medical practices, and e-commerce brands across the United States.
We build, manage, and scale paid and organic search programs with one goal: more qualified leads at a lower cost per acquisition.
Who is SELLIQ for?
We work best with businesses that:
- Already have a proven service or product and need more leads
- Have a marketing budget of at least $1,500–$2,000/month for ads
- Want a long-term growth partner, not just a vendor
- Value transparency and data over vague monthly reports
Our clients range from solo practitioners to multi-location businesses and funded startups.
How do I get started?
Book a free strategy call. We'll review your current situation, ask about your goals, and give you an honest assessment of what's possible and what it would take to get there. No pitch decks, no pressure.
If there's a fit, we'll outline a recommended scope and you decide if you want to move forward.
Do you work with businesses outside the US?
Our primary focus is the United States market, but we do work with international businesses that are running or planning to run campaigns targeting US audiences. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.
How fast will I see results from Google Ads?
Most clients see initial data — clicks, impressions, first leads — within the first few days after launch. Campaign performance typically stabilizes within 30–60 days, depending on competition, budget, and landing-page quality.
The first month is always a learning phase. Google's algorithm needs conversion data to optimize, so results tend to improve significantly in months 2 and 3.
What's the minimum budget for Google Ads?
It depends on your industry and goals, but as a general guide:
- Local service businesses — $1,500–$3,000/month minimum
- Law firms — $3,000–$15,000+/month
- Medical & dental practices — $2,500–$10,000+/month
- B2B services — $3,000–$20,000+/month
- E-commerce — $5,000+/month
Below a certain threshold, Google's algorithm doesn't get enough conversion data to learn effectively, which leads to unstable results and rising costs.
Will I own my Google Ads account?
Yes, always. Your Google Ads account is created in your name (or we request access to your existing account). All campaign data, history, and assets belong to you and remain yours — even if we stop working together. We never hold your account or data hostage.
Is my ad spend included in your management fee?
No. Your ad spend goes directly to Google from your own billing account. SELLIQ only charges the flat management fee — there are no percentage cuts on your media budget. This means we have no incentive to inflate your spend.
What types of Google Ads campaigns do you manage?
- Search Ads (high-intent, text-based)
- Performance Max
- Google Shopping Ads
- Display & Remarketing
- YouTube Ads
- Demand Gen Campaigns
- Local Services Ads (Google Guaranteed)
- App Campaigns
How do you calculate a Google Ads budget?
We use a simple formula: Monthly Budget = Desired Leads × Target Cost per Lead.
For example, if you want 30 leads per month at a $100 target cost per lead, you need roughly $3,000/month in ad spend. Your target CPL should be driven by your average deal value and profit margin — we help you work backwards from revenue goals.
How long does SEO take to show results?
SEO is a long-term strategy. Most clients start seeing meaningful ranking improvements within 3–6 months, with significant traffic growth by month 6–9. The timeline depends on your domain's existing authority, competition in your niche, and the amount of content and technical work needed.
The upside: unlike paid ads, SEO results compound over time and don't stop when you pause a budget.
What's included in your SEO service?
- Full technical SEO audit and fixes
- Keyword research and topical mapping
- On-page optimization (titles, meta, structure, schema)
- Content strategy and production
- Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
- Link building and authority building
- Monthly reporting with rankings, traffic, and leads
Do you guarantee first-page rankings?
No — and be cautious of any agency that does. Google's algorithm is outside anyone's control. What we guarantee is a structured, transparent process based on proven SEO methodology, regular reporting, and honest communication about what's working and what needs adjustment.
Our track record speaks for itself — see our client reviews.
How much does SELLIQ charge?
We use flat-fee pricing — no percentage of ad spend, no hidden markups. Our Google Ads management plans start at $1,200/month and scale based on ad spend and campaign complexity. A one-time setup fee applies for new accounts.
SEO retainers are scoped individually based on your site's current state and competitive landscape. Book a strategy call for a specific quote.
Are there long-term contracts?
No. All plans are month-to-month. You can cancel anytime with no penalty. We earn your business every month through results, not through contract lock-in.
We do offer an optional 3-month plan that includes a free 4th month — but it's optional, not required.
What's your payment policy?
We require full prepayment before work begins. This applies to both setup fees and monthly management fees. Invoices are issued at the start of each billing cycle.
If you need to cancel before work has started on a new cycle, a refund is available. Once work has begun, fees are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Do you offer a free trial?
We don't offer free trials — running effective campaigns requires real setup, research, and management time from day one. What we do offer is a free strategy call where we review your situation, identify gaps, and tell you honestly what we'd do and what results are realistic. That call alone is typically worth an hour of consulting.
What does onboarding look like?
After signing, we start with a structured onboarding process:
- Week 1 — Access to your accounts (Google Ads, GA4, GSC), intake questionnaire, brand and audience deep-dive
- Week 2 — Keyword research, campaign architecture, ad copy drafts, conversion tracking setup
- Week 3 — Review and approval, final tracking QA, campaign launch
- Month 1 — Active monitoring, first optimizations, initial data review
How often will I hear from you?
You'll receive a monthly report covering all key metrics: leads, cost per lead, conversion rate, ROAS, and a summary of what was optimized and what's planned next.
We're also reachable by email for any questions between reports. For larger accounts, we schedule regular check-in calls.
How do you track leads and conversions?
We set up conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager and GA4 before launching any campaigns. This tracks form submissions, phone calls, booking completions, and any other actions that matter to your business.
Every dollar of ad spend is tied to measurable outcomes — we don't launch without tracking in place.
What if my campaigns aren't performing?
We proactively flag performance issues and adjust — that's the job. If a campaign isn't hitting targets, we dig into the data: Are the keywords right? Is the landing page converting? Are bids aligned with competition?
We communicate issues as soon as we see them, not at the end of the month. You'll always know what's happening and why.
Can SELLIQ help me if I'm just launching my business?
Yes. We work with pre-launch and newly launched businesses — and in some ways it's easier to build the right foundation from day one than to fix bad habits later.
For new businesses, we typically recommend starting with Google Ads to generate immediate traffic and test your offer, while building out SEO in parallel for long-term organic growth.
I don't have a website yet. Can you still help?
You'll need a website before running paid ads — but it doesn't have to be elaborate. A clean, fast, single-page site with a clear offer and a contact form is enough to start.
We can advise on what your site needs to convert paid traffic effectively. If you need a web development referral, we can point you in the right direction.
What marketing should I focus on first as a new business?
For most new service businesses, the priority order looks like this:
- Google Business Profile — free, immediate local visibility, set up before anything else
- Google Ads — fastest way to get in front of people actively searching for what you offer
- SEO — takes longer but builds a compounding organic lead channel
- Social media — good for brand building, but rarely drives direct leads at first
We help you prioritize based on your specific market and budget.
How much should a new business budget for marketing?
A common benchmark is 10–20% of projected revenue for marketing in year one. For a business projecting $200,000 in first-year revenue, that's $20,000–$40,000 annually — or roughly $1,700–$3,300/month.
That budget needs to cover both ad spend (which goes to Google) and management fees (which go to your agency). We'll help you allocate it effectively during your strategy call.
I don't have reviews or case studies yet. Will that hurt my ads?
Not necessarily for paid search — Google Ads shows your ad based on relevance and bid, not reviews. However, your landing page's ability to build trust matters a lot for conversion rate.
We'll advise on how to build credibility on your landing page even without reviews — through clear credentials, a specific offer, guarantees, and strong copy. Getting your first few reviews quickly is something we'll help you prioritize.
Is it too early for SEO if my business just launched?
It's never too early — in fact, starting SEO at launch gives you a head start. Every month you wait is a month your competitors are building authority you'll have to catch up to later.
The basics — setting up Google Search Console, structuring your pages correctly, targeting the right keywords from the start — take no additional time if done at launch and save months of rework later.
What if my business idea hasn't been validated yet?
Google Ads is actually one of the fastest ways to validate a business idea — you can put an offer in front of real buyers within days and see if they click, inquire, or buy. It's far more reliable than surveying friends or running social polls.
A small test budget of $500–$1,000 can tell you more about market demand than months of planning. We can help you structure a validation campaign before committing to a full marketing build-out.
Does SELLIQ build websites?
Yes. We design and build websites of any complexity — from sleek marketing sites to fully custom platforms. Whether you need a WordPress site, a headless build, or something built from scratch on a custom stack, we handle it.
What types of websites do you build?
- WordPress — custom themes, page builders, WooCommerce, animated and interactive experiences
- Custom-engine builds — fully bespoke front-end and back-end, no CMS constraints
- React / Next.js / Vue / Nuxt — modern JavaScript frameworks for fast, scalable web apps
- Webflow & Squarespace — no-code platforms with custom code injection
- E-commerce — Shopify, WooCommerce, custom storefronts
- Landing pages — conversion-optimized single pages built for paid traffic
Can you build animated and interactive websites?
Yes — this is one of our specialties. We build scroll-triggered animations, parallax effects, SVG and canvas animations, video-driven hero sections, and fully interactive experiences. If you've seen something on another site and want something similar (or better), bring it to us.
Do you design the site or just develop it?
Both. We handle the full process: strategy, UX structure, visual design, and development. If you already have designs in Figma or another tool, we can build directly from them. If you're starting from scratch, we design and build end-to-end.
Will my website be optimized for SEO from the start?
Yes. Every site we build includes SEO fundamentals by default: clean semantic HTML, proper heading structure, schema markup, fast load times, mobile responsiveness, Core Web Vitals optimization, and correct meta tags. SEO is built in, not bolted on.
How long does it take to build a website?
It depends on the scope:
- Landing page — 1–2 weeks
- Marketing website (5–10 pages) — 3–6 weeks
- WordPress with custom design — 4–8 weeks
- Custom-built platform or e-commerce — 8–16 weeks
Timelines depend heavily on how quickly content and feedback are provided. We share a clear project timeline at kickoff and keep you updated throughout.
How much does a website cost?
Pricing varies by complexity. As a rough guide:
- Landing page — from $1,500
- Marketing website — from $3,500
- WordPress custom build — from $5,000
- Custom-engine or framework build — from $10,000
- E-commerce — from $7,000
Book a strategy call and we'll give you an exact quote based on your requirements.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. We do full redesigns and partial rebuilds. Before starting, we audit your current site for SEO, performance, and conversion gaps — so the new version isn't just prettier, it's faster, better structured, and built to rank and convert.
Do you offer ongoing website maintenance?
Yes. After launch we offer maintenance retainers covering security updates, plugin management, performance monitoring, content edits, and technical support. Keeping your site fast, secure, and up to date is especially important if you're running paid traffic to it.
What lead generation services does SELLIQ offer?
We build full lead generation systems — not just individual channels. That includes:
- Google Ads campaigns targeting high-intent buyers
- SEO to generate consistent organic inbound leads
- Landing page design and conversion rate optimization
- Lead capture forms, CRM integrations, and follow-up automation
- Local lead generation for service-area businesses
- B2B lead generation combining search and content
What's the difference between lead generation and just running ads?
Running ads brings traffic. Lead generation converts that traffic into actual leads — people who fill out a form, call your number, or book an appointment.
A lead generation system includes the ads plus the landing page, the offer, the form, the follow-up, and the tracking. We optimize the entire funnel, not just the top of it.
How do you qualify leads — not just generate volume?
Lead quality matters more than volume. We improve qualification by:
- Targeting high-intent keywords that signal buying readiness
- Writing ad copy that pre-qualifies (mentioning price range, service area, or requirements)
- Designing landing pages that set clear expectations
- Adding qualifying questions to your lead capture forms
- Excluding irrelevant searches with negative keyword lists
The goal is leads that convert into paying clients, not just inbox volume.
Can you help with B2B lead generation?
Yes. B2B lead generation requires a different approach — longer sales cycles, decision-maker targeting, and content that builds trust before a prospect reaches out. We combine Google Ads (Search and Demand Gen), SEO, and content strategy to build a pipeline of qualified B2B leads over time.
How do you measure lead generation success?
We track the metrics that actually matter to your business:
- Cost per lead (CPL) — what each lead costs you
- Lead-to-close rate — how many leads become paying clients
- Cost per acquisition (CPA) — what each new client costs you
- Return on ad spend (ROAS) — revenue generated per dollar spent
Vanity metrics like impressions and clicks don't pay your bills — lead and revenue metrics do.
What is GEO and why does it matter?
GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization — the practice of making your content appear in AI-generated answers on platforms like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot.
AI search is already changing how people find businesses. Instead of clicking ten blue links, users get a single AI-generated answer — and only the sources the AI trusts get cited. If your business isn't one of them, you're invisible to an entire growing segment of search traffic.
How is GEO different from regular SEO?
Traditional SEO gets you ranked on page one. GEO gets you cited inside the AI answer itself — before the user even sees any links.
- SEO optimizes for ranking position — GEO optimizes for citation inside AI answers
- SEO focuses on keywords and backlinks — GEO focuses on content structure, authority signals, and extractability
- SEO drives clicks to your site — GEO builds brand presence directly in AI-generated answers
The two strategies work together — a strong SEO foundation makes GEO optimization significantly more effective.
Which AI platforms does SELLIQ optimize for?
- Google AI Overviews & AI Mode — appearing in Google's AI-generated summaries
- ChatGPT — getting cited when users search with web browsing enabled
- Perplexity — one of the fastest-growing AI search engines, highly citation-driven
- Gemini — Google's AI assistant and search integration
- Microsoft Copilot — Bing-powered AI assistant
- Claude — Anthropic's AI with Brave Search integration
What does SELLIQ's GEO service actually include?
- AI visibility audit — checking whether your brand appears in AI answers today and where competitors are being cited
- Content restructuring — rewriting and formatting key pages so AI systems can extract and cite them
- Schema markup — FAQPage, HowTo, Product, Organization, and AggregateRating structured data
- Authority signals — adding citations, statistics, expert attribution, and original data that AI systems trust
- Machine-readable files —
llms.txt, structured pricing pages, and AI-accessible formats - Third-party presence — building your brand on sources AI systems heavily cite (industry publications, review platforms, directories)
- AI bot access check — ensuring GPTBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, and Google-Extended can crawl your site
- Ongoing monitoring — tracking your citation rate across AI platforms as they evolve
How fast can I appear in AI search results?
For platforms like Perplexity and ChatGPT with live web search, optimized content can start appearing in AI answers within 2–6 weeks of implementation — much faster than traditional SEO.
Google AI Overviews are more closely tied to your existing search rankings, so that timeline aligns more with standard SEO (3–6 months for significant impact). We prioritize quick wins on non-Google AI engines while building the longer-term Google presence in parallel.
My business is small — does AI search visibility matter for me?
It matters more for smaller businesses than for large ones. Big brands get cited by default because they're already widely known. Small and mid-size businesses need to earn AI citations through well-structured, authoritative content — and those that do it now build a significant head start before the practice becomes standard.
AI search also favors the best answer, not the biggest brand. A small dental practice with a well-structured FAQ can outrank a hospital system in AI answers for local queries.
Can I combine GEO with Google Ads and SEO?
Absolutely — and this is the most effective approach. Google Ads drives immediate paid traffic. SEO builds organic rankings. GEO ensures you're present in AI-generated answers. Together, they create a complete search presence across every format users interact with today.
We design integrated strategies where all three reinforce each other — the content created for SEO and GEO improves landing page Quality Scores for Google Ads, and vice versa.
What kind of results can I realistically expect?
It depends on your industry, budget, and starting point — but across our clients, common outcomes include:
- 30–50% reduction in cost per lead within 90 days
- 2–4x increase in qualified lead volume within 6 months
- Page-one rankings for high-intent keywords within 3–6 months (SEO)
- Positive ROAS within the first 60–90 days for most industries
We set realistic expectations upfront — and we'll tell you clearly if your goals aren't achievable at your current budget.
Can you guarantee results?
No ethical agency can guarantee specific revenue or lead numbers — too many variables are outside our control (market conditions, seasonality, your sales process, landing-page quality). What we can guarantee is:
- Full transparency in everything we do
- Weekly optimizations based on real data
- Honest reporting — including when something isn't working
- A structured, proven process that we apply to every account
Why did my previous agency fail to deliver?
The most common reasons we hear from clients switching to us:
- No conversion tracking — spending without measuring
- Generic campaigns not tailored to the business
- Monthly reports with vanity metrics (clicks, impressions) instead of leads
- No optimization between monthly check-ins
- Percentage-of-spend pricing incentivizing budget inflation over results
We built SELLIQ to fix exactly these problems.
